KConnect’s county-wide collective impact work is aimed at shifting the conditions that hold our challenges in place. This APC will be something new for our network. Our Prenatal to Third Grade Workgroup, along with one of our Lead Convening Partner, First Steps Kent, will speak about the progress that’s being made in the Early Childhood system in Kent County. After that, we will be bringing in facilitators from CivicLab to hold a workshop on moving from programmatic thinking to systems thinking.
CivicLab is an institute dedicated to advancing the practice of civic collaboration. Led by a team of pragmatic practitioners, CivicLab creates the tools and frameworks that form the underlying foundation for the practice of community collaboration. They offer an interactive approach to community collaboration and will help us to document the discoveries, and share the practices broadly.
Whether you are serving on a Workgroup, are a member of the Board of Trustees, or are supporting through other means, you are part of our network, and KConnect’s Network IS the APC! Your participation is essential. If you have any questions please contact Katie Hop at email@example.com.
Are you new to APC? Would you like a refresher course on our values, process, and what you can expect? Join us for a “Newbie and Refreshers Breakfast” on Thursday, May 16 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. We’ll see you there!
